Terms of Service
Welcome to iHouse. By accessing or using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
iHouse provides research, analysis, and historical data for Irish property, for informational purposes only. We do not host listings, facilitate transactions, or provide mortgage, valuation, legal, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional for any such advice.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for activity on your account; keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms.
- You can delete your account at any time from /account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, mirror, or reverse-engineer iHouse content or APIs at scale
- circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security measures
- submit false, harassing, fraudulent, or unlawful content
- use iHouse for automated marketing, spam, or commercial redistribution
- disrupt service operation or other users' use
Reasonable low-volume access for research, journalism, or academic purposes is generally fine — please email us first to coordinate.
4. User content
Content you submit (feedback, contact messages) remains yours; you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display and use it on iHouse (for example, showing your feedback on the wall).
5. Intellectual property
iHouse code, design, curated data sets, visualisations, and brand assets are protected by copyright and other rights. Aggregated data may include elements from third-party public sources, subject to their respective licences (see About). Commercial redistribution requires our written permission.
6. Third-party links and services
iHouse links to third-party websites (Daft.ie, MyHome.ie, PPR, CSO, etc). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of those third parties.
7. Disclaimer
iHouse is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. See our full Disclaimer.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, iHouse — including any loss arising from reliance on data shown on the site for property decisions.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
