Install iHouse on your device
Once added to your home screen, iHouse runs like a real app — standalone window, desktop icon, offline access to your history, faster launch. Three platforms, step by step.
iPhone · Safari
iOS 15+ · Must use Safari (other browsers not supported)
Open in Safari
Visit ihouse.ie in Safari, then tap the Share button in the bottom toolbar (square with up arrow).
Find the option
Scroll down in the share sheet, then tap "Add to Home Screen".
Confirm
Preview the icon and name, then tap "Add" in the top right. Rename to "iHouse" or anything you like.
Done 🎉
The iHouse icon appears on your home screen. Tap to open in full-screen app mode — no browser bar.
Android · Chrome
Chrome 90+ · Most of the time Chrome will prompt automatically
Open in Chrome
Visit ihouse.ie. Chrome usually shows an "Install app" banner — tap it. If not, go to step 2.
Open the menu
Tap the ⋮ menu top-right, then choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
Confirm install
Tap "Install" in the dialog. The system adds the icon and notifies you when done.
Done 🎉
iHouse appears on your home screen and in the app drawer. Android generates an adaptive icon based on your current theme color.
Mac · Chrome / Edge
Desktop Chrome 73+ / Edge 79+ · Same flow on macOS / Windows / Linux
Find install icon
Visit ihouse.ie. Chrome shows an install icon at the right end of the address bar (monitor with down arrow).
Click Install
Click the icon, then click "Install" in the confirmation popup. You can also use ⋮ menu → "Install iHouse...".
Standalone window + Dock 🎉
iHouse launches in its own window (no browser bar) and shows up in Launchpad / Start Menu. Pin to Dock if you like.
